HIMILINBERC (US) "Wyrd" - Cassette
GOATOWAREX | CASSETTE
Icelandic Himilinberc’s 2025 demo, Wyrd, is a pure, unadulterated time capsule straight into the heart of the 90s and early 2000s Germanic pagan black metal underground. Wyrd channels the majestic yet abrasive spirit of the genre's European pioneers, resurrecting a classic sonic template where shrieking vocals and razor-sharp tremolo picking collide with sweeping, mythic atmospheres. The Icelander summons the cold landscapes and ancient heathen folklore that defined an entire movement through anthems like the title track, and "Weltentod." It is a fierce, deliberate monument to the 90’s pagan traditions, offering an authentically raw listening experience crafted specifically for diehard purists of turn-of-the-millennium pagan black metal like Menhir, early Falkenbach or Bergthron.
